Delete your Suvo account
Last updated: 14 July 2026
This page explains how to delete your Suvo account and all data associated with it. Suvo is published by Suvo (developer name on Google Play and the App Store).
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)
- Open the Suvo app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Your data.
- (Optional) Tap Export my data first to download a JSON file of everything we hold about you.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm. The account becomes unavailable immediately; deletion from active systems follows the process below and cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Email us
If you cannot access the app, send an email from the address registered on your Suvo account to hello@getsuvo.com with the subject line "Delete my Suvo account". We will verify your identity by replying to that address and will delete your account within 30 days of a verified request.
Removing a managed profile
An account holder may remove one managed profile from inside the app. The removed profile is no longer available for normal use, and new supplement activity, reminders, and intake records stop. Its personal information is deleted from active systems according to this deletion process. Removing a managed profile does not delete the account holder's account or other profiles.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is deleted from active systems:
- Your email address and account record.
- Your supplement stack (every supplement you added, with brands, doses, and schedules).
- Your intake log (every "taken" event, every reminder acknowledgement).
- Any label photos you uploaded to our moderation queue that are attributed to your account.
- Your reminder settings and push-notification tokens.
- Your in-app preferences (streak counters, onboarding state).
- All managed-profile data associated with your account, including profile attributes, supplement stacks, reminders, intake history, and safety evaluations.
What is retained (and why)
After account or managed-profile deletion, limited data may remain for the reasons below.
- Anonymised, aggregate server logs — request counts, error rates, and performance metrics. Retained for up to 90 days for operational and security purposes, then automatically deleted. These logs do not contain your email, your stack, or your intake history.
- Catalog contributions — if you contributed a new supplement barcode or submitted a label photo that was accepted into our public supplement catalog, the catalog entry itself remains (the product exists and benefits other users), but the attribution to your account is removed. We retain this indefinitely because it is product data, not personal data.
- Backup snapshots — our database is backed up for disaster recovery. Residual encrypted copies of your data may exist in backups for up to 35 days after deletion, after which they are automatically overwritten. Backups are encrypted and are not accessed for any purpose other than disaster recovery.
